Good things: 1.Located between Barrio Gothico & Eixample in a quiet street - 5 minutes walk from Catalunya Station 2.Pleasant/Colorful and well maintained reception area 3.Spacious bathroom with numerous shower mixers to choose from No so good things: 1.Room corridors and staircases not fully refurbished/ you can identify traces of the old hotel 2.Corridors not well ventilated and floor is fitted carpet 3. Extremely small wardrobe - if you travel winter there is no way you can hung a bulky jacket 4. in my room in the fifth floor although refurbished I could spot chipped wall edges and holes on the bathroom floor ( room's floor is probably epoxy painted floor - no wood/stone or porcelain) 5. Typical for most 3 star hotels - the aged towels Small things to improve without cost!: 1.Just add in the bathroom a glass/storage for toothpaste/toothbrushes, It costs nothing and makes such a huge impact for the traveler 2. Just add in the room a folding luggage stand. It costs nothing and makes such a huge impact for the traveler especially if he/she arrives after 10 hours journey. After all, why do we have to pack/unpack our luggage on the bed? 3. Smiley receptionists. For a guest that stays almost a week it would be nice to smile (even fake smile). The expressionless - one word - im utterly bored to make an effort receptionist is not the most welcoming experience Things to improve and probably costly: 1. Although rooms are not spacious, there is still space for solid/functional furniture that could add value to the room Overall, I haven't suffer during my stay but I would not return back gain. I paid more than 1K EURO during my stay and the last day I was asked to pay 2 EURO for the water I took at the reception and after I arrived from a trip of 8 hours flight.

I chose this hotel because it was not far from where I had to go to work, when I arrived they didn't want to let me in since they don't accept digital credit cards, so I had to wait an hour and a half until they let me in, when everything was already paid for. But the cherry on the cake was that when I checked out of this hotel, I left my cell phone charging on the bedside table and I was never able to get it back, despite calling insistently and always receiving the same answer, my colleague contacted you, laughing in my face. And if you feel like sleeping, put ear plugs, since the walls are not thick and you can hear your neighbors having sex.

I stayed in Barcelona in September 2002. The hotel is in a great location - walking distance from La Rambla and other sites (it's over 40 minutes to Sagrada Familia). The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very small, but that's normal for Europe. An overall pleasant stay.

I spent one night, room is clean, bathroom is ok, however amenities needs improvement, I booked for single room but hotel gave me triple room as it was available with steer view, room space was good. Internet was slow and no soundproof I can hear the toilet flush for room next door also people makes phone calls in the corridor in the middle of the night and gather outside the rooms making noise with no consideration for others. For money value I think it was ok I paid for one night €65 Location is good and convenient. Receptionist was helpful and friendly. Maybe they just need to work on the soundproof thing.

I stayed for 5 nights in this hotel in October 2021 and I liked it very much. There is a 24h reception which is impressive for a 3 star budget hotel. The room was super clean and spacious. The beds and pillows were super comfortable and the bathroom amenities were very good. There is AC in the rooms as well. The location is FANTASTIC. We walked everywhere and never had a problem with transportation "not that we needed it" or finding restaurants nearby. The receptionists were all friendly and helpful. Overall highly recommend!
